We’re delighted to be joined by Rupa Popat for an introduction to Angel Investing. Rupa is an exited entrepreneur and Founder & Managing Partner of Arāya Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in founders transforming the way we live and work. She has a £20million EIS venture capital fund that invests in early-stage startups in Health, Fintech, Commerce and Future of Work.

She is also founder of the UK’s fastest growing investment academy for angel investing, the Araya Ventures Academy to Angels. She was the 2023 and 2024 UKBAA Angel Investor of the Year Finalist and a winner of the 2024 Diversity UK Tech Pioneer award.

Rupa will give a brief introduction to angel investing, followed by some of the key considerations for those of you wanting to start to build your own portfolios or invest in diversified fund portfolios.
